The default account will also be migrated from the Bybit AI Subaccount to the Main Account on a phased basis, as outlined below. Meanwhile, you can tell Bybit AI to remember your own default account preferences.

Implementation Schedule

Effective Sep 25, 2026: Main Account Operations Enabled

Bybit AI will support operations via the Main Account for all users. During this initial stage, the Bybit AI Subaccount will remain the default account. Users who wish to use their Main Account before the default-account migration is completed may specify this preference directly within their Bybit AI conversation.

Sep 28–30, 2026: Default Account Migration

From Sep 28 to Sep 30, 2026, Bybit will implement the default-account migration on a phased basis. Once the migration is completed for your account, the Main Account will become the default for subsequent Bybit AI queries and supported operations. The exact timing may vary by user.

Account Preferences

Users may continue to customize their account preferences by specifying within the Bybit AI conversation whether a particular query or supported operation should use the Main Account or the Bybit AI Subaccount by default. Bybit AI remembers your preferences, so your experience stays the way you like it without having to set things up again.
